Radio Courses

Courses cover all the material required to pass the Flight Radio Telephony Operators License (FRTOL). The structure of the course is divided into three theory and one practical sessions. These sessions hope to give a good understanding of RT phraseology and procedures that are required in UK airspace. Each course normally runs with three students on either a Saturday or Sunday from 10am to 5pm. Course cost can be seen on our prices page. There is alot of material to learn during the course, so all students are asked to study the CAA Publication CAP413 before attending which can be found on the CAA website. Please study chapters 2 & 3 as a bare minimum. Also there is a highly recommended supplement which can be downloaded here
